Autumn MLP Open
Yet to try this jewel of a venue? We are nestled in the North Yorkshire countryside just 15 mins North of the beautiful historic city of York.
If you’re looking for plenty of competitive pickleball against strong opponents on some of the best courts in the country, our Autumn Open is for you.
THE FORMAT
A team event featuring 2 men and 2 women, with a full day of competitive play:
- 14 gender doubles games – 7 men’s and 7 women’s doubles games, giving each player 7 games.
- 14 mixed doubles games – 7 games per player.
That’s 28 games per team against strong opposition, with every game untimed, played to 11 and won by 1.
🏆 THE COMPETITION
All 8 teams will compete in a single league table. Two points will be awarded for a win, with an a point for teams losing but achieving 6 points, determining the overall winning team and the Most Valuable Player(s).
The competition is DUPR rated, and teams must have an average DUPR of 3.75 or above.
